Creative Support & IT Manager

This is a dynamic and multifaceted role within a thriving pharmaceutical organisation, ideal for an experienced IT professional with a creative flair. The successful candidate will oversee cloud-based systems, optimise digital services, and support the creative needs of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise the company's cloud-based software suite, including configuring, maintaining, and assessing new tools aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and business continuity by implementing and monitoring security protocols such as MFA, identity management, and endpoint protection.
  • Lead first or second-line support for staff IT needs, troubleshooting issues across cloud apps, devices, and connectivity.
  • Manage vendor relationships, control IT budgets, and oversee licence renewals to ensure value for money.
  • Oversee lightweight infrastructure including laptops, phones, and peripherals, establishing standards for device management and secure remote working.
  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures, identifying opportunities to automate and improve workflows.
  • Support the Creative Team by advising on PowerPoint presentation development, managing templates, and visual themes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on IT security, user experience, and creative support to ensure smooth operations across the organisation.

About you:

  • Proven experience managing cloud-based IT environments, particularly Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure, within small to medium organisations.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security best practices, data protection (GDPR), and SaaS tools with an ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, with experience supporting creative presentation development and visual branding.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to wear multiple hats and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, proactive mindset, and a service-oriented attitude to support team needs effectively.
  • Experience working with external IT providers or MSPs and supporting remote or hybrid teams is desirable.
  • Creative skills with Photoshop or Illustrator would be advantageous for supporting presentation design efforts.
