Patient Care Advisor

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients through inbound and outbound calls, delivering friendly and professional customer service.
  • Manage and update patient account records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR and IG regulations.
  • Process orders and deliveries efficiently, responding promptly to patient queries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with third-party couriers to track deliveries, manage delays, handle claims, and oversee returns.
  • Support onboarding of new patients and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive experience from the outset.
  • Participate in team activities, providing administrative support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and company culture, embodying the BD way to foster a trustworthy and empathetic environment.
  • Monitor key metrics including call data, patient feedback, service complaints, and revenue targets.

About you:

  • Experience in a customer service role with direct patient or healthcare professional interaction by phone.
  • Understanding of healthcare services, customer management, and clinical needs.
  • Strong communication skills, with an empathetic and professional approach.
  • Resilient, flexible, and comfortable working as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Demonstrates patience, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence.
