Key responsibilities:
- Assemble units following detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Utilise hand tools and basic equipment for product assembly
- Package finished products in readiness for dispatch
- Conduct basic functional testing and inspect components for defects
- Record testing results accurately and report faults or inconsistencies
- Maintain workflow to achieve daily production targets
- Prepare and organise materials and components for assembly
- Assist with stock control of parts and keep workstations tidy and organised
