Technical Sales Engineer - OEM Sales

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop existing OEM customer accounts, acting as the primary technical and commercial contact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM hardware, firmware, product, and procurement teams worldwide.
  • Lead technical sales engagements for VTAP digital wallet modules from initial design discussions through to production phases.
  • Provide expert guidance on NFC integration, RF behaviour, antenna tuning, PCB layout, module placement, and firmware interfaces.
  • Identify opportunities for new modules, variants, features, or broader platform adoption within customer organisations.
  • Support and enable global distributors and field application engineers (FAEs) by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
  • Qualify inbound leads based on technical feasibility, potential volume, and complexity of integration.
  • Contribute customer insights to product roadmap planning, positioning, and future module development initiatives.

About you:

  • Strong background in electronics engineering, with expertise in RF, embedded hardware, PCB design or similar areas.
  • Proven success in selling OEM hardware modules, components, silicon, or embedded subsystems.
  • Comfortable conducting detailed technical discussions with senior customer engineering teams.
  • Experience working with global OEMs and distributor channels.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and adept at working independently in a remote, international setting.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of NFC/RF fundamentals, digital wallet ecosystems, access control, IoT devices, or secure hardware solutions.
  • Engineering Degree
