Business Administrator

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage emails and client communications efficiently, maintaining professional relationships
  • Book jobs, schedule work for engineers, and update daily labour schedules
  • Arrange travel, flights, and accommodation for domestic and international projects
  • Maintain staff training records and certification matrices ensuring compliance
  • Prepare and issue onboarding documents for new starters
  • Assist with financial tasks such as checking supplier invoices and preparing payment forms
  • Support payroll preparation and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain and update industry accreditations and support the process of achieving new ones
  • Assist with visa, work permit applications, and manage documentation for overseas projects
  • Support the preparation of tenders and bids, and carry out general office duties as required

About you:

  • Highly organised with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude and initiative
  • Experience in office administration, email management, and scheduling systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Solid IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools
  • Experience with tenders, compliance, or industry accreditations is advantageous but not essential
