Conveyancing Manager

Offering a salary of £55,000 to £65,000, together with a performance-related bonus scheme, this role would suit a confident conveyancing professional looking to take ownership, influence change, and make a real impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise residential conveyancing matters, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
  • Design, implement, and refine workflows to optimise efficiency and quality standards.
  • Manage compliance and risk mitigation procedures within the department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local estate agents to promote business development.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring future support staff as the department grows.
  • Report directly to the Principal, providing insights on departmental performance and strategic developments.

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years' residential conveyancing experience, with a strong handling of freehold, leasehold, and new build transactions.
  • Commercially aware, understanding throughput, viability, and operational flow.
  • Calm and steady communication style, capable of managing large caseloads efficiently.
  • Organised, process-driven, and comfortable working within established systems.
  • Positive, professional, and resilient attitude with no tolerance for drama or chaos.
