A rewarding opportunity for a Part-Time Estate Caretaker to join a well-managed estate in a picturesque location.

The role involves a blend of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks, fostering a varied and engaging work routine.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct daily estate walks to identify issues, record findings, and take corrective actions where needed
• Ensure the laundry area is tidy, hygienic, and bins are emptied regularly
• Monitor completed work to ensure standards are met and follow up as necessary
• Open and manage post, voicemail, and emails, and coordinate quotes and work orders
• Perform resident and property checks to maintain safety and security
• Weekly inspection of cleaning, gardening, and window cleaning standards
• Liaise with contractors, gardeners, and service providers to ensure scheduled works are completed
• Carry out fire alarm, legionella, and emergency light checks
• Replenish consumables in guest suites and laundry using petty cash
• Monthly security and safety checks, including liaising with cleaning companies and submitting meter readings
• Book quarterly fire alarm testing and external cleaning for entrance areas
• Remind residents to conduct dispersed alarm and safety checks, update resident information and inventory annually
• Arrange services such as gas boiler safety certificates, PAT testing, and emergency light testing
• Ensure all keys, resident welcome packs, and documents are up to date and correctly maintained
• Attend relevant training and support new residents’ inductions as required
About you:
• Previous experience in facilities management, estate maintenance, or similar roles
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with contractors and residents
• Proactive, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Comfortable working independently and managing a varied schedule
• Physically capable of undertaking manual tasks and property inspections
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and relevant checks is desirable
