Production Controller

A prominent manufacturing organisation is seeking a dedicated Production Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee production jobs using the ERP system to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Organise kitting for assemblies, ensuring kits are prepared for smooth manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct materials availability analysis in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
  • Manage sales order fulfilment and organise post-production activities in partnership with ITC and Stores.
  • Communicate effectively with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams regarding procedures and operational issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise team procedures and operational efficiency.

About you:

  • Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
  • Resilient, adaptable, confident and able to work independently when required.
  • Committed to delivering high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Salary of £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
  • 37.5-hour weekly working pattern with lunchtime finishes on a Friday.
