Senior Data & Analytics Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain core organisational data sources, including CRM and supplementary systems.
  • Manage ETL processes for importing and integrating data from external platforms such as JustGiving, Eventbrite, and survey tools.
  • Ensure data quality through cleaning, standardisation, deduplication, and validation across all systems.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards tailored to stakeholders’ needs.
  • Monitor organisational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for informed decision-making.
  • Support GDPR compliance by ensuring personal data is processed, stored, and managed in line with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to implement effective data governance and access controls.
  • Document data management and reporting procedures, fostering process consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Provide support to end-users across departments for data and reporting queries.
  • Liaise with external providers to resolve technical issues and support data integration projects.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing data workflows and process efficiencies.

About you:

  • Previous experience managing and analysing data from multiple systems, including CRM platforms 
  • Familiarity with data reporting, quality improvement, and system integration processes.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes (training provided as needed).
  • Understanding of GDPR principles and data governance best practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or tools such as Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Clear, proactive communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic learner with a collaborative, adaptable approach and a commitment to continuous development.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary in the range of £17.50 - £19.75 per hour.
  • Ongoing temporary remote role whilst recruiting
  • 35 hour week
