A well-established organisation is seeking a temporary Warehouse Operative to join their team. This short-term position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations within a friendly environment. Work hours are from 10.30am to 6.30pm, with an immediate start available this Friday. The position is at least until the end of September, subject to business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on pick lists and storage layout
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders, adhering to daily deadlines
- Operate warehouse management systems for processing inbound and outbound deliveries
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in compliance with HSE policies
- Assist in stock management, including replenishing shelves and recording stock levels
- Conduct quality checks for picked orders to ensure accuracy
- Follow clear dispatch procedures and keep work areas neat and organised
About you:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
