Key responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and develop a small team of Tender & Bid Specialists and Administrators, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee end-to-end tender and bid processes, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards
- Champion ESG, sustainability, and social value initiatives within tender submissions, aligning them with current market and regulatory expectations
- Monitor team performance through metrics, generating reports to inform strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and address performance gaps effectively
- Coordinate tender and bid submissions, aligning internal stakeholders and external partners for timely and high-quality results
- Consolidate commercial, financial, and technical inputs for tenders, ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Support sales reporting related to tender activities and manage ad hoc tender or contractual tasks as required
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in business, science, or economics
- Must have previous experience in tender and bid management, preferably within healthcare or NHS procurement
- Previous leadership experience or a senior specialist with first leadership exposure
- Excellent understanding of healthcare tender processes, with a focus on process optimisation
- Proven ability to manage complex tender projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI is advantageous
- Results-driven with a collaborative approach and a keen eye for detail
What’s on offer:
- Base salary between GBP £50,000 and £59,000
