A dynamic retail company specialising in luxury goods is seeking a Contract Temp-Perm Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. Key responsibilities:
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs to ensure timely supplier settlements
- Posting accounts payable (AP) invoices and payments accurately
- Reconciling supplier statements to maintain accurate accounts
- Performing credit card reconciliations to monitor expenses
- Raising and dispatching accounts receivable (AR) invoices and statements
- Assisting with credit control by proactively chasing outstanding payments
- Supporting the wider finance team with various ad hoc accounting tasks and duties
About you:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar finance role
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data management
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable and proactive, with a positive attitude
- Must be able to drive due to office location
- Available to start immediately to meet business needs
