Key responsibilities:
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs to ensure timely supplier settlements
- Posting accounts payable (AP) invoices and processing AP payments accurately
- Reconciling supplier statements to maintain precise supplier accounts
- Carrying out credit card reconciliations to ensure correct allocations
- Raising and dispatching accounts receivable (AR) invoices and statements to clients
- Assisting with credit control activities and following up on overdue payments
- Providing support to the wider finance team with various ad hoc accounting tasks
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role within a busy finance environment
- Proficient in Excel, with strong data entry and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
- Owns a driving licence due to the office location
- Available for immediate start to ensure a smooth onboarding process
