Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement directorate-level people strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Support and advise on employee relations issues, including volume cases and complex scenarios requiring escalation.
- Lead and facilitate organisational change initiatives, including restructures and consultation planning, with a focus on effective engagement and communication.
- Assist managers with change documentation, consultation planning, and the execution of change processes.
- Provide data-driven insights, using employee experience themes and workforce trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Promote a positive and consistent employee lifecycle experience, from onboarding through to exit, supporting engagement and retention initiatives.
- Identify and analyse themes related to culture, colleague experience, and management practices arising from stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with OD, L&D, and Wellbeing teams to identify training needs and support delivery of initiatives that enhance people development.
- Embed inclusive, equitable, and wellbeing-focused practices across HR processes and leadership behaviours.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including D&I and Volunteer Development, to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Support the organisation’s employer brand by championing a positive, inclusive, and engaging people experience.
About you:
- Proven experience as a HR/People Business Partner within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Experience working within a charity, membership organisation, or similar setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations management.
- Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, and consultation processes.
- Excellent relationship-building, coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyse employee experience data and use insights to guide decision-making.
- Demonstrated competence in managing competing priorities and volume ER cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems such as Midland HR (iTrent) or similar, with experience using PowerBI advantageous.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
