Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers via telephone or email to gather all necessary payroll information, including hours worked and relevant administrative details.
- Assist with the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from start to finish.
- Utilise BrightPay payroll software to process calculations, manage deductions, pensions, statutory payments, and payroll adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate payroll records, updating information regularly and ensuring compliance.
- Manage pension-related payroll administration efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure payroll activities adhere strictly to HMRC and Inland Revenue procedures and regulations.
- Coordinate registration processes for customers as employers with HMRC.
- Record and verify payroll-related information such as employee details and HMRC cheque records systematically.
About you:
- Previous experience working in payroll or payroll administration is essential.
- Proficient with BrightPay payroll software.
- Good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, including pension administration and payroll deductions.
- Knowledge of HMRC and Inland Revenue procedures and compliance requirements.
- An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in all work.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
