Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Design and embed employment policies and best practices aligned with legislation and organisational values.
- Drive organisational change initiatives, working closely with senior leaders to develop and communicate supportive change plans.
- Provide expert coaching and advice on all HR and employment-related matters to managers and staff.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships across various divisions, ensuring consistent service delivery and compliance.
- Develop workforce plans in partnership with service leads, focusing on skills development and resource allocation.
- Utilise data analytics and HR reporting tools to forecast workforce challenges and inform decision-making.
- Manage employee relations issues with sensitivity, ensuring fair and legally compliant resolution outcomes.
- Support organisational development initiatives, including talent management and succession planning.
- Promote a positive organisational culture by embedding core values and behaviours in all activities.
- Contribute to relevant projects and initiatives, providing insights through people metrics and analysis.
About you:
- Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent practical HR experience.
- Proven track record as an HR Business Partner managing complex employee relations and organisational change.
- Experience leading and developing HR teams within multi-site or similarly complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, policies, and best practice, with the ability to translate into practical solutions.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Skilled in data analysis and utilising HR systems to inform strategic decision-making.
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused with a genuine passion for supporting organisational success and employee well-being.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A valid UK driving licence and own transport, with willingness to travel across sites as required.
