FTC HR Project Lead

Are you an HR professional with L&D experience looking for an immediate start? My client is looking for a dedicated HR Project Lead for a six-month fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to shape key HR initiatives and drive organisational change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver assigned HR projects from conception through to implementation and evaluation, ensuring they meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and success measures.
  • Engage key stakeholders, maintain effective communication, and build strong relationships to ensure project alignment and support.
  • Research, analyse, and interpret information to identify opportunities for improvement and develop practical HR solutions.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and actions to facilitate successful delivery.
  • Provide regular updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to the Head of HR.
  • Support the development and effective embedding of organisational development initiatives, including competency frameworks and behavioural models.
  • Assist in reviewing and enhancing HR processes, practices, and tools to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Utilise HR data and insights to identify trends, propose improvements, and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate on talent initiatives, employee engagement, and learning and development programmes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation.

About you:

  • Extensive HR experience within generalist, project, organisational development or HR business partnering roles.
  • Demonstrable success in independently delivering HR projects from initial idea to final implementation.
  • Strong experience in designing and deploying HR frameworks, processes, or programmes that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to improve HR practices and streamline workflows effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • Autonomous worker with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with analytical ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience delivering learning and development or talent initiatives.
  • Previous exposure to environments such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, or operational sectors is advantageous.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferable.
