Fundraising Administrator

This Contract Fundraising Administrator role in South West London offers an engaging opportunity to work within a dedicated charity environment on a hybrid basis, supporting a vibrant fundraising team focused on cultivating patron relationships and philanthropic giving.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the wider fundraising team, ensuring smooth operations across various activities.
  • Assist the Head of Patrons with mailings, invitations, donations processing, and managing patron enquiries.
  • Support the Philanthropy team with event coordination, database management, and stewardship activities including thank you letters and receipts.
  • Create engaging copy for correspondence, reports, and presentations to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Contribute to planning and executing fundraising events and activities.
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks as reasonably required to support team objectives.

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience in administrative roles, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in engaging with internal and external stakeholders tactfully.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail with a high standard of administrative accuracy.
  • Desirable: knowledge of fundraising databases or customer relationship management systems.
  • Interest or knowledge of gardening is beneficial but not essential.
