Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the wider fundraising team, ensuring smooth operations across various activities.
- Assist the Head of Patrons with mailings, invitations, donations processing, and managing patron enquiries.
- Support the Philanthropy team with event coordination, database management, and stewardship activities including thank you letters and receipts.
- Create engaging copy for correspondence, reports, and presentations to support fundraising initiatives.
- Contribute to planning and executing fundraising events and activities.
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as reasonably required to support team objectives.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience in administrative roles, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in engaging with internal and external stakeholders tactfully.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail with a high standard of administrative accuracy.
- Desirable: knowledge of fundraising databases or customer relationship management systems.
- Interest or knowledge of gardening is beneficial but not essential.
