Fundraising Support Officer

A rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join a renowned conservation organisation as a Fundraising Support Officer.

The role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects, supporting supporter engagement and donor care all within a friendly and supportive environment committed to making a difference.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent supporter care by responding to email, post, and telephone enquiries, issuing receipts, and following up with donors.
  • Accurately record donations and correspondence within the charity’s CRM system.
  • Support the management of regular giving and charity programmes.
  • Assist the Retail Manager with order enquiries, exchanges, returns, and fulfilment of online shop orders.
  • Draft and proofread thank-you letters, donor updates, and impact reports in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Contribute to planning and attending charity events to promote supporter engagement.
  • Undertake general fundraising administrative duties and support team activities as required.

About you:

  • Proven experience in customer or supporter relationship management, ideally within the charity sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn new systems and CRM platforms.
  • Relevant experience in administration and customer service roles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
