Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on a range of HR issues, including employment law, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment process, from job adverts to onboarding new employees.
- Support with workforce planning and employee relations, including grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and best practice initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support management decision-making.
- Promote a positive HR service that encourages staff engagement and professional growth.
- A multi-site HR role, with a high level of support to managers in the business.
About you:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within the education or teaching sector.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
- HR qualification is desirable.
