Part Time HR Advisor

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to management and staff on a range of employment matters.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening applicants, and organising interviews.
  • Support onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data protection compliance.
  • Monitor and promote HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
  • Assist with grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management processes.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.

About you:

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or in a comparable HR role.
  • CIPD level 3 or 5 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, approachable, and supportive approach to working with colleagues.
  • Confidence in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
  • Looking for a term time only opportunity.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary in the region of £23,000 - £24,600 (pro rata for part-time hours, 30 hours per week).
  • Part-time hours with flexible working arrangements, preferably over 5 days, 4 as a minimum.
