Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, and exit processes.
- Support payroll processes, including payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain and update HR systems and databases to ensure accurate records and reporting.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for staff and management, offering pragmatic advice and support on HR matters.
- Monitor compliance with employment law and HR best practices, ensuring policies are up to date.
- Work collaboratively within the HR team to support school development initiatives.
About you:
- Experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within an education or school environment.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant experience, CIPD Level 5 or above is advantageous.
- Good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on customer service and quality support.
