A well-regarded school near Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated School Receptionist & Administrator to join their friendly team.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the front reception area, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, pupils, and staff.
- Answer phone calls and emails, handling inquiries and directing communication appropriately.
- Support the organisation and coordination of school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain and update school management systems, including pupil records, attendance, and contact details.
- Prepare and distribute school communications such as newsletters and notices.
- Operate office equipment efficiently, overseeing stock levels of supplies and liaising with the finance team for orders.
- Assist with health and safety procedures, including maintaining first aid supplies and supporting emergency procedures.
- Handle confidential information in strict accordance with Data Protection policies.
- Provide general administrative support to senior staff and assist in developing operational procedures.
About you:
- Previous experience in administration or reception, (ideally within an educational setting).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Google Workspace and school management information systems.
- Effective communicator with tact, diplomacy, and warm interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to task.
- An understanding and commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
- A genuine interest in supporting the development and wellbeing of young people.
